Northwestern Football at Ryan Field Opening Night Puzzle
Northwestern Football at Ryan Field Opening Night Puzzle
Description
For nearly a century, Northwestern football lived in the same lakeside bowl in Evanston. It opened in 1926 as Dyche Stadium, became Ryan Field in 1997, and stood open to the sky until the final whistle. Then it came down, and something new went up in its place.
This pillow holds both. One side is the old Ryan Field: the brick, the bleachers, the Saturdays generations of Wildcats fans remember. The other side is the new Ryan Field, which opened on October 2, 2026, almost exactly 100 years after the original's first game. Every image is Ken Smoller's original photography, shot in person. No stock photos. Just being there.
Same ground. Two eras. One pillow for the fan who was there for both.
Every seat has a story.
